Hannah R. Gerber is a Professor of Literacy at Sam Houston State University in the Department of Teaching and Learning and an Honorary Professor at the University of South Africa in the Department of the Psychology of Education. She is the Director of the Doctoral Program in Curriculum & Instruction and the Coordinator of the Graduate Certificate Program in Digital Literacies at Sam Houston State University. She is the immediate Past President of ICEM. Gerber has published over 80 works including 7 books. Her research has won multiple awards and been discussed in mainstream media venues such as Wired Magazine.
